Important information about yard waste
The City of Tavares has a new truck that is being used to pick up the brush (yard waste) that we place at the front of our properties. The forks of the new truck will dig into the ground (lawn) if the brush pile is too small. Please place only larger brush piles at the curb, when it will not fit into your regular trash can. The driver of the truck does not want to harm your lawn during pick up.
